Chris is one of Kojonup’s many ‘treasures’ and is the only person in Kojonup licensed to pick wildflowers. Every year Chris constructs a wonderful display of Kojonup’s wildflowers which she maintains throughout the Bloom festivities. Chris was also responsible for developing Kojonup’s Herbarium, which is a valuable scientific resource for plant identification, education and research, providing a legacy of knowledge for future generations and for scientific study of the flora of Kojonup.
