Hosted by The Kodja Place Cultural Centre
Curated by local native floral expert Chris Lewis, this collection of preserved plant specimens found in the Shire of Kojonup is used as a reference library for identifying local plants and for research and educational purposes. A Herbarium is an essential tool in the study of plant biodiversity, identifying new species and tracking environmental change. Specimens are dried, pressed, mounted and labelled with detailed data about their location, habitat and their date of collection.
