Ngowanjerindji – Gnowangerup Stories & Songlines

This event has unfortunately been cancelled due to earthquake damage at the Museum.

Ngowanjerindji is the local Noongar word for Gnowangerup, home of the mallee fowl.

The Gnowangerup Aboriginal Corporation and Cultural Heritage Centre showcases the history of the indigenous people associated with the local Mission and Stirling Range, who used the plains as hunting grounds for thousands of years.

They share their stories with community, to help tell the history of their people, their connection to Country and their values.

Understanding that there are many ways to tell a story, you are invited to spend the day to hear them.

Date: 6 October
