SCENT AND SIP – A SENSORY TASTING: Is a refined spring experience that brings together the beauty of the garden and the wines of the Great Southern in a truly immersive way. Guided by Tracey Whooley, Great Southern Sip wine expert and garden host, guests are invited to take their place at a long table set amongst the flowers, where the experience unfolds gently over two hours of learning, sniffing and sipping.
The journey begins with a floral learning element, using fresh blooms, herbs and citrus blossoms, before moving into a curated tasting of eight Great Southern wines. As the tasting evolves, these natural aromatics are revealed in the glass….offering a deeper understanding of how we perceive flavour, texture and structure. Accompanied by a curated selection of nibbles that mirror the floral beauty and aromatic detail of the garden, the experience opens the senses in a way that feels both intuitive and quietly transformative.
Set within a garden in full bloom, with soft light filtering through and the scent of spring in the air, this is a thoughtful, sensory-led experience designed to inspire, educate and connect….an elegant and memorable celebration of place during the Bloom Festival. Guests will also have the opportunity to create their own seasonal bouquet to take home, extending the experience beyond the glass.
